Steven Marc Fraistat, 74 of Fort Myers, FL passed away in the early morning hours on June 17, 2019, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in The Bronx, NY and raised his family primarily in Hazlet, NJ. He was a Vice President for Central-Lewmar Paper Company prior to semi-retiring as a successful real estate agent in Ocean City, Maryland. In 2015 he was able to fully enjoy his retirement with his wife in Florida, where he enjoyed playing cards and bocce with friends as well as going to the gym.
Steve will be remembered for his sense of humor, generosity and fairness. He was the "go-to" guy for any situation or advice and he loved his family unconditionally. He served his country in the Army National Guard and as Captain of the Hazlet First Aid Squad during the 1980's.
Predeceased by his parents, James and Anne Fraistat and his brother Norman Fraistat, he is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda Fraistat, his two daughters, Danielle Johns of Lanoka Harbor, NJ and Michele Foley, along with her husband Kevin Foley, of Howell, NJ; three grandchildren that were the light of his life, Zachary Johns, Ryan Foley and Nicole Foley; his sister-in-law Lynda Fraistat of Manchester, NJ, his niece Alexis Fraistat and her two daughters, Mercedes and Angelina Fraistat of Jackson, NJ.
The family is holding a private viewing and in lieu of flowers, requests that memorial donations be sent to St. Jude's Hospital for Children.
