Sita Ramcharan, 56 passed peacefully on Friday, February 15th from Breast Cancer at home with her family and close loved ones. Sita was born in Trinidad where she lived for 25 years. Then moved with to Florida and was a resident of Cape Coral for the past 29 years.
Sita is survived by her husband of 35 years, Dhaniram Ramcharan and her four loving children: Sharda Sanger [Ryan Sanger], Ravi Ramcharan, Shiva Ramcharan, youngest daughter Shanti Ramcharan and granddaughter, Lilliana Sanger.
Sita’s role as a mother, grandmother and friend, was the most important thing to her. Being with her family is what she enjoyed most of all. She had many obstacles in her life and struggled with cancer for 22 years. Fourteen of those years were metastatic, which she fought for with all of her strength. Sita never complained and through all of her tribulations she remained strong for her family, since that was always her main focus. She was definitely a fighter and kept fighting until she took her last breath, which was peaceful. She is now in a better place and no longer in pain or suffering.
One last wish of hers was for everyone to remember her as the happy, unselfish person she was. She was always positive about everything in her life. No matter how weak she became she stayed motivated and mentally strong.
