John “Jack” Miles Prosser, 69, of Ft Myers, Fl passed away Thursday, September 12th, 2019 in the company of his family, after a long battle with cancer. Formerly of New Castle, PA, Jack and his wife Lynda moved to Ft Myers in 1973. Jack was born July 3, 1950 in New Castle, PA. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Leone Prosser and his brother, David B Prosser.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 47 years, Lynda, and their 2 children- Nicole (John) Roberts of Gainesville, Fl and Jennifer (Kevin) Knick of Charleston, SC. He was a loving Pop-Pop to his 4 grandchildren of whom he adored, Audrey, Addison, and Christianna Roberts and Cameron Knick.
Jack was an avid fly fisherman, hunter and woodworker. Jack’s gift was the kindness and love of his family, friends, coworkers and strangers alike.
