Henry F. Dion, 76, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away peacefully February 27, 2021 at Pacifica Senior Living Center after a battle with Dementia.

Henry was born March 1, 1944, to Gladys (Swanson) and Henry H. Dion in Glendive, Montana. He graduated from Dawson County High School in 1962. After high school, Henry attended Montana State University where he graduated in 1966. He then joined the United States Army. He served for four years and was stationed in Korea. After the United States Army, Henry went on to have a long career as a Commercial Banker from 1970-2010 in Minnesota and Iowa.

On May 29, 1971, Henry married Anne Coventry in Rochester, MN. They had two daughters.

Many would describe Henry as a very caring person who was active in his community. He belonged to the Rochester Rotary Club, Rochester Downtown Alliance, Rochester Better Chance, YMCA Executive Board and the Red Cross Volunteer. Henry also enjoyed reading, being outdoors, road trips, walking, spending time with family and friends, fishing, and being in the sunshine.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Henry H. and Gladys Dion.

Henry is survived by his wife Anne Coventry Dion of Fort Myers; two children, Heather (Michael) Tressler of Green Bay and Hillary (Ken) Kremers of Rochester; grandchildren Carolyn Tressler, Ellie Tressler, Maggie Tressler and Henry Tressler; his siblings Grace Dion of Glendive, MT, Tom (Cindy) Dion of Cottage Grove, MN, Kent (Debbie) Dion of Glendive, MT and Charley (Denise) Dion of Glendive, MT.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 11:00am at Peace Lutheran Church, 15840 McGregor Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
