Mary Goudy
1926-2017
Mary Z Goudy passed away peacefully on September 6, 2017 at the age of 91. Wife of
the late William A Goudy, Mary was born in Syracuse, NY to Amelia Ricci Zazzara
and Graziano Zazzara. Mary was a successful businesswoman, with a strong creative
and entrepreneurial spirit. She was deeply loved by many for her kind, generous,
and fun-loving nature. Always true to herself, her grace and style set her apart.
Mary is survived by her son, Louis A Goudy and wife Patricia of Naples, FL; and
daughters, Jacalyn Gould and her husband Lawrence J Gould of Boston, MA; Lorraine
Vale and her husband Richard A Vale of Charleston, SC; Toni Sue Funck and her
husband Barry C Funck of Lancaster, PA; Almirinda Vintilla of Cape Coral, FL; four
grandchildren, John Gould and Katharine Meyer, Russell and Ryan Funck; and
several nieces and nephews. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Goudy
requested donations be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research
Hospital, Memphis TN.
