Carl James Rogers was born on July 12, 1942 in Ft. Myers, Fl to his parents Eugene and Juanita Rogers. He passed away on May 7, 2017 in Cape Coral, Fl at the age of 74.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Tunis Grace Rogers; children Eugene (Tami) Rogers and David (Kelly) Rogers; grandchildren Kaitlin, Kristin, Grant, Ashley, Jordan, and David Jr.; mother Juanita; sisters Janie (Ed) Kunzweiler and Carol (Frank) Howard; and many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Carl was a long time member of Riverside Baptist Church serving as a Deacon and recently a member of Northside Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time fishing but most of all, spending time with his family.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 10-11 AM on Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Northside Baptist Church; 8250 Littleton Rd, N. Ft. Myers, FL 33903. A Memorial Service celebrating Carl’s life will commence at 11:00 AM.
